IIT JEE is going to be held in two parts: January and April, just like before. As per the latest updates of IIT JEE , the exam will be conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency), and the official notice is expected to be out in November . Students who are in Class 12th or have already passed it can apply. They can appear in one or both sessions, and their better score will be used for admission.

The IIT JEE exam pattern is expected to remain the same as in previous years. The syllabus will include Class 11 and 12 topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Math. Registration for IIT JEE Main is likely to begin in the first week of November. It is better for students to start preparing now, keeping an eye on all the IIT JEE  latest updates to stay ready.

IIT JEE Will Be Conducted by Which IIT?

The IIT JEE Main exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), as usual. However, for JEE Advanced, Any IIT  is likely to be the organizing institute. Each year, a different IIT takes responsibility for organizing the JEE Advanced exam.

IIT JEE Highlights

IIT JEE is one of the most awaited exams for students aiming to pursue higher degree courses in the field of engineering in India. The Joint Entrance Examination evaluates students' knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics based on the syllabus of Classes 11 and 12. The exam has two phases: IIT JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Read on to learn more about them.

IIT JEE Main Overview

IIT JEE Main is an important exam for students who wish to secure admission to top engineering colleges like NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. IIT JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) is one of the most popular engineering entrance examinations conducted in India. More significantly, JEE is the most-recognised competitive exam and probably the only way for aspirants to land a seat in some of the top engineering institutions in the country. Students who get admitted into these institutions are offered some of the best resources including, teachers, facilities and other amenities. In addition, students who successfully complete the course are placed in some of the top companies in the world. JEE students have a good career prospect.

IIT JEE is mainly divided into two categories known as JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main is the first phase while JEE Advanced is the second phase of the exam. Candidates have to appear and clear JEE Main before proceeding to the next stage. Since 2019, National Testing Agency (NTA) is in charge of overseeing and conducting JEE Main. JEE Main is usually conducted more than once a year. Students can appear for one or all the sessions depending on their choice. The best score will be considered for the creation of the merit list.JEE Advanced is the final phase of IIT JEE. Aspirants who secure a high rank and are within the top ranks (will be set every year by the exam authority) will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. The main purpose of JEE Advanced is to provide admissions for B.E. or B.Tech. courses in 23 IITs and 9 Premier institutes. As for the JEE Advanced exam pattern, it is conducted in the form of a computer-based test (online) and includes two papers. The test is carried out once in a year and in two sessions. Only students who appear for both paper 1 and paper 2 will make it to the merit list. Seven different IITs conduct the examination on a rotational basis.JEE is one of the most difficult engineering entrance examinations not only in India but in the world. The JEE syllabus is vast and questions that are asked in the exams are very tricky. Students have to be academically strong and develop adept problem-solving skills to crack JEE.
