Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for students seeking admission to undergraduate programs at CUET Central Universities and other participating institutions across India. CUET aims to create equal opportunities for all students, especially those from rural and underrepresented backgrounds, by providing a standardized and fair admission process. The exam will be held in multiple languages and cover subjects such as language skills, domain-specific topics, and general awareness. By using one common entrance test for various universities, CUET UG simplifies the admission process and ensures a transparent, merit-based selection system for higher education aspirants.
CUET UG Overview
Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate courses in central, state, and participating universities across India. It provides a single, standardized platform for students to apply to multiple universities using one exam score. The exam is expected to be held in online mode (CBT) and will include three main sections: Languages, Domain-Specific Subjects, and a General Test. Students can choose up to five subjects based on their preferred course and university requirements. The syllabus will be based on Class 12 NCERT curriculum, and the exam will follow a multiple-choice question format with negative marking for incorrect answers.
